Ukraine emergency
The goal of the project is to bring medical care and psychological support to the Ukrainian population escaping from war.
People fleeing are deeply tried, and the effects of fear and trauma can cause psychological wounds such as post-traumatic disorder. Being able to receive psychological and medical support is crucial.
In addition, the intervention also includes support actions directed at Romanian volunteers who are engaged in providing shelter, guidance to women, elderly and children fleeing the war and arriving in Romania.
Activities
MEDU’s mobile clinic operates in the Romanian border town of Siret-Suceava and in the city of Černivci in Ukraine, which hosts about 80,000 refugees mainly women, children and the elderly.
